What future mods are you looking to do on your car? As i don't think you can never be happy with how it looks....theres always something missing or better mods coming out all the time.

Im actually in the process of getting facelift w204 tail lights on my w204 :D

Waiting for my grill upgrade for my facelift w204, out of stock until 10/9 though.

Had a chat with my frienldy body shop today (not the perfume kind) who are happy to fit it for a few quid.

what grille you going for? you can change it yourself, shall i provide link to diy.

Thinking about doing a clk w208 dtm replica without the decals

I'm planning to overhaul the brakes and suspension shortly ; at the same time , I plan to retrofit hydro pneumatic suspension to cope with the added weight of the LPG kit I intend to fit .

Too many really to mention as my car is basically a blank canvas for me.

CLK63 front bumper
AMG rear box
Facelift rear lights
Xenon Headlights
Parktronic
Rear blind
'Club' Pedals...
DRLs

Get a 63 front bumper but don't do DRL's. It'll look overkill.
But if you DO decide to, I'll be interested to see what they look like.

Ive been thinking about removing the front foglights and getting Hella long strip ones, OEM quality, colour and brightness as per my Photoshop mock up. My goal is to make it as OEM in appearance as possible.

I see what you mean.

But the CLK has lovely curves and round edges, as apposed to the straight lines of the new stylings (C & E-Class for example).

Straight DRL's wouldn't sit right against the curves of the CLK front end styling.

You'd have to try and get DRL's that flow with the fog light sections I reckon.

Just my opinion though bud, so don't shoot me down! lol!:D

But as I said, if you do decide to toy around with the idea, I'd be very interested to see how it works out.

I did say need to find a way though, never said it`ll be easy :D

I know what you mean, but I do they that depending on the position can look OEM:

For me, big brakes then I'm done, not really needed for anything other than aesthetics.. not as if the car is running 3.7 to 60! So a bit of an expensive visual mod...

Yeah, I'm with you.

Maybe some that are similar to the new E-class DRL's could work. Then turn them upside down to make the follow the side section of the fog section?

I'm sure you'll come up with something that works.

Yeah, I don't think there's much more that your car needs to be honest.
What you've done looks great :thumb:

But I know how it goes... sooner or later you'll get the itch again...

:D

facelift mirrors

Hi

I've just joined and was looking at this thread on mods. I've just replaced my fabric seats on my 2010 W204 with heated leather and they are brilliant!

I needed to insert a new wiring loom and get a leckie to program the rear SAM but I'm delighted with the result at a fraction of the cost of specifying these as options.

By the way, if anyone's interested I'll be offering some silver facelift autofold mirrors on the classifieds board as soon as I get approved.
