I've seen this in real life.

Belongs to Nigel of Buryas Bridge Garage. He fitted the 560 engine, redid the interior, fitted AMG wheels etc.

It was over two years ago when he must have converted it as I saw it back in summer 2007 and it was running the 560 engine then?

Blimey! This still hasn't sold - and neither has the 190 Evolution! They both seem to appear periodically for sale with the seller.
I can't belive it, seeing as the G Wagon is a super creation, and the Evo is a decent example of a rare car!

Didn't he also a W202 C55 AMG saloon at one point?
