Gap above roof lining?

I need to run a couple of cables from the rear to the front of my ML (W163) above the roof lining (below the roof!) for a rear view camera/mirror monitor.

Does anyone know if there are any obstructions in the roof lining gap to prevent me doing this?

I'm looking at doing the same in my W166. What camera are you using?

Definitely NOT a CMOS, it'll either be a CMD or CCD 1/3" Sharp with night vision.
Not decided on style yet either, butterfly, bullet or oblong version.
