Restart it. It'll pick up where it left off. Does so many times but eventually will install.

I had the same problems with mine freezing, not sure how I got onto it but the computer came up with an option to troubleshoot and said the program had to run in compatability mode. Went back & tried to install the download and it only took a couple seconds to finish.
To the poster who never got a map upgrade, I think that option is only valid in the first 60 days.

Hi Vulture...I've managed to get speed cameras working on my audio 20 map pilot.
Buy the database from https://www.scdb.info/en/ (Only £8 for a year) and then run it through POI loader Garmin: POI Loader

Which map set did you download... I'm trying to resgister with SCDB..and I dont know what Map set for speed cameras.
Anyone able to advise which poi settings download for an audio 20 sd card based system... New b class
It amazes me how arcahic the MB systems are...I've got V6 card (yes via Ebay!) but
1) Never worked with the traffic system...and the " Mercedes me specialist" hadnt got a scooby do...
2) I'm up to v 8 on software... but maps??? NO ... not even a way to buy that...
So my be I'll stump up the 80/90 quid for a V8 map... and see... but its pretty pathetic for a car provider like this... clearly from from the number of cards about... MB are taking the p*s when they ask u to buy it...
..iterestingly when i challenged the Seller about the traffic he said "what do you expect for £50... these are demo cards"...I nearly took him back to Ebay as misselling but got it to upgrade the S/w the traffic is irrelvant!
I've tried all variants of the cameras and then saving them to different names... and the system just ignores them... I must be doing something fundamentally wrong..
I'll try splitting out the different types ...
SCDB were very helpful but they did advise me that it might not work...kudos to them for being so helpful..
If someone gets them to work - can the email me a copy of the poi file so i can try...I wont "nick " it...I just want to see if its the V6map and v9 code on the disk thhat are the issues.

I have a map pilot SD card and have tried to update three times now. First time it took seven hours and when I checked the version it came out as 2015 tried again and although it went through a download again no change the third time I'm told that the maps are up to date. Does anyone have any further information. Many thanks

What makes you think your due an update? Garmin SD cards can only be updated within the first 60 days, if your maps are from 2015 the card is already years old?

In the end with mine the dealer swapped out the SD card as the one I had just wasn't working and told you put it in the car when in the laptop and then back in the laptop when you put it in the car !

Used the MB update manager and this updated the software only. Map still V4 2015. Dealer quoted £132 for a new SD card with 2016 maps on it.
Took a chance with EBay at £60 and got V8.0 maps (2017)
Fitted it tonight and worked straight away - commands functions are different but have all functions including easier access to vocie control - does anyone use this??

The voice system is a bit hit and miss...but for "GO HOME" or "STOP ROUTE" works great...some of the ways to navigate are a bit weird but they do work
Very tempted to ditch my V6 card and got for the V8 maps as they are in serious need of an upgrade - did you run an upgrade as soon as you got it... be interested to see if it then upgrades the MAPS again?

I can confirm that their is a V9.0 update as I have just updated. I did the same thing, purchased a V8 card its been working like a charm for 2-3 weeks however now the Live Traffic Information has stopped working and says "No Valid Subscription" my car is 15 months old and Mercedes have confirmed the LTI is on the build sheet and the subscription is active for another 2 years. Being honest with them I straight up told them what I done and they suggested that I insert the SD card in and try to do an update if to see if that re activates the licence on the SD card failing that the car will have to go in for them to check the COM module. Never had a problem with the previous card but Live Traffic is important to me as I commute to London daily, I purchased my SD card from eBay and the dealership have confirmed that the card is genuine and is covered by warranty still.
V9 card installed...- software was already up to date... very little change but the maps have some fixes...
Interestingly the Traffic Management still doesnt work..- and the Mercedes Me app says only compatible with Command not Audio 20... bit bloody tight fisted to have a system but not allow you to have something as simple as that...
Anyhow... I've got 59 days now to see if i get any upgrades to maps...the S/w should be able to upgrade.

So I really dont understand why not... - Mercedes dont have a clue.!
