Garmin Map Pilot SD Card Update v8 for Audio 20

I've updated mine tonight to V9.0 software, Live Traffic still not working since I bought the new card even though the car should have a 3 years subscription. think I'll try Customer Service & see what they suggest.

I tried Customer services...and the referred me to the dealer... and my last dealing with dealer were nothing but blank looks! Circle time!

I brought a Brand new 2017/2018 card with V9 S/w and its just upgraded to V10 s/w (cant see a single difference ...wish these things came with a txt file to show the difference/upgrades).. and of course NO live traffic...
For a car of this quality... some of the support services are pretty pathetic!

SO...VERSION 10 S/w out there now team...but no map changes

V9 card installed...- software was already up to date... very little change but the maps have some fixes...
Interestingly the Traffic Management still doesnt work..- and the Mercedes Me app says only compatible with Command not Audio 20... bit bloody tight fisted to have a system but not allow you to have something as simple as that...
Anyhow... I've got 59 days now to see if i get any upgrades to maps...the S/w should be able to upgrade.

I checked my VIn via this Checking VIN for Mercedes-Benz | CARInfo

And one of the lines says
B54 MBCONNECT - REAL-TIME TRAFFIC DATA

So I really dont understand why not... - Mercedes dont have a clue.!

Just plugged the card into the SD reader and hit update... its backed up and now doing a (painfully slow) 2018 (10.0) Europe (17.15Gb) update :
Currently
Map 2017/2018 (v9.0) Europe
Software V10.0,SW54.12 17/29.00, E53.0


So you DO get a map upgrade.......eventually...

I've managed to get speed cameras working on my audio 20 map pilot.
Buy the database from SCDB.info - The Worldwide Speed Camera Database (Only £8 for a year) and then run it through POI loader Garmin: POI Loader

its a complex set up updates...and "tweaks"... I can docxument u through it..
TBH I took it off...as driving on the M3 in the recent camera works... it "binged" every few seconds...and that interrrupted any music....
drove me nuts!

I use WAZE for traffic...as I am STILL waiting for me local garage to give me an appointment for an "urgent recall" where I wanted to add this...
2 calls to them...and nowt... I'm beginning to loose faith in Marshalls and their support process..

Melmoste1957 I have a similar new car. Have you managed to incorporate safety cameras onto the SD card yet and if so does it work "perfectly:?

In a weak moment I bought the latest maps on a SD card from MB dealer. They seemed shocked that anyone would buy from them rather than ebay. However the dealer charged £95 and the map was updated on-line to 2019 maps.
So far it works a lot smoother (as it should) than the ebay product which cost 50%.

Some members mentioned that the Live Traffic subscription only works with the cards bought from MB, but not with those bought off eBay.

Hi Markjay
The Live Traffic worked fine after the dealer SD was used, and it also worked with the E-bay supplied one. I bought the dealer SD card as the e-bay one crashed whilst on holiday, so not really useful at all.
