I have had my C Class since October 2015 and after getting an email from Garmin that my free for life portable sat nav had an update available I decided to also check the SD card in the car for the first time.
Using the new road layout at junction 10A of the M1 at Luton Airport as a reference that was completed around April last year my portable sat nav now shows the revised layout but the Garmin in the C Class, despite uploading an update and a new set of maps, still shows the old layout.
Got to say I am somewhat disappointed and am left wondering how often the maps in the car get updated as the portable version gets 4 updates a year.
Software was V2.1 SW15.00 Build 14/17.00 now V1.2 SW25.18 Build 15/24.00.
Not sure why V2.1 is now V1.2 but I took a screen print so I haven't got this the wrong way around.
Out of interest for those that don't know the download manager can be downloaded from Garmin® MAP PILOT - Mercedes-Benz Apps. The username and password will be your Mercedes Me details.
