Garmin satnav update

Hi 66 reg e220d,when using voice on my garmin satnav to say "find address",when saying address it comes up with addresses from all over the place,it only finds correct address maybe 1 out of ten times,(if I'm lucky)took it to dealer,they said not seen this before,told me to book car in for a whole day so they can do an update,has anybody else had this and do you know what the latest update is? I will let you know how I get on

My experience of sat nav problems leads me to think Mercedes dealers do not have a clue about them, best of luck!

The only instruction my Garmin understands is, "Go home." I have given up trying to hold any meaningful conversation with it. I experienced the same problem you are having and decided life is too short to bother with voice input. It's really sad that a £30k car has such rubbish technology when a a smart phone can understand virtually everything you say to it. Rant over!
