Gear knob dismantle?

Good morning all, does anyone know how to take apart one of these?

Normally on these, there is a lock at the bottom(maybe the chrome section at the bottom on that knob) which just rotates half a turn to unlock. Then, pull the knob straight up. It is imperative you pull straight up & DO NOT twist as there are two electric connections in the form of pins that break!
