Gearbox hard shifting s class w221 s320 2008

Hi guys, I'm experiencing hard shifting mainly in 2-3 3-4, and 4-3 3-2,i have done gerbox service @500miles ago, I have reset the gearbox shifting values and the torque convertor but nothing still hard shifting, no errors on the gearbox or the engine, please help, this will be a matter for the experts as the car already been seen by amators and conclusion was to spend 3000£ for a refurbished gearbox that they will fit on, how I can sort this problem please...

How were the shift values reset? What was done to the torque converter? Were the codes read using STAR?
Take the car to an experienced MB independent. Whereabouts are you located, someone may be able to recommend an indie local to you.
Bottom line stop guessing and get the experts on it
