a while ago I bought a clk500 with a bad gearbox, symptoms were fault code 2505 and another fault to do with incorrect gear ratios, really bad slippage to the point the car lost drive and the shift knobgetting stuck in gear.
I decided it was best I rebuild the gearbox so sent the car in to AGRTEAM In aldershot.
I have to say they were really high quality and very knowledgable regarding Mercedes gearbox’s and did not miss a beat when rebuilding it. My clutch rings were burnt, my torque converter was faulty and needed rebuilding and the TCM unit was full of oil and debris.
They did a full rebuild for £1700 inclusive and in only a few days.
Was very impressed and thought I’d post here incase anyone else needs a gearbox specialist.
