When you get a c63 remapped does the gearbox get done aswell?

No....the TCU for the transmission is separate.

It will seem like it shifts faster but that's just down to the ECU letting it change while still at full throttle. The stock file supposedly pulls the throttle slightly so that it's not as harsh on the transmission. Once remapped it will just give it the full beans on change....in theory could wear the transmission a few thousand miles sooner.

Tcu needs removing and valves adjusting to physically shift faster.

Thanks lee thought this would be the case. Going to get the secondary cat deleted then a map. Is it better to get x pipes or just straight?

I heard Petes (V8Pete) a few weeks back after a Remap and secondary cat delete, and it sounded wicked. Nice deep rumble similar to stock, but at full throttle probably twice as deep and loud.
He had it done at MSL (Torqueflow exhausts) not sure if it was straight or a X-pipe.
Give Acid a shout, and he can confirm with Imran how he does it.:thumb:
