Hi Guys,

After completing C43AMG'S CL, he decided to bring his s-class in for a little bit of tlc. This is a central london daily driver, so i originally talk him out of having paint correction as it was being washed by local car washes generally. So the car popped in to have some of the leather refinished from wear, a full interior detail, engine bay clean, wheels off deep clean and a exterior protection detail:

As it was just having a standard exterior protection detail (and the fact the car was swirled up so bad) i filler glazed the paint on a d.a. so for the people who want to see how well poorboys can fill swirll marks, take a look at this filler glaze 50/50:

Also while the car was in, the owner had some monoblock split rims that had been badly refurbished. So we refurb them the right way:

Just a quick one and many more on the way. comments welcome good and bad & thanks for looking,

Kind Regards

Excellent! Perfect timing too, as I was about to start machine polishing my black Citroen XM for sale and the Poorboys looks like an infinitely more simple way to do it.

Great work, stunning :)

Great work!

The seats have cleaned up really well and I never thought I'd ever be bothered with how tidy things look under a bonnet but that has inspired.

Hi Charles, hope your very well!

Yes for dark paint thats looking very tired that isnt having paint correction, black hole will improve the finished quite a bit (as shown above) apply with a soft polishing pad such as a yellow 3m pad on a d.a. and you will be completely safe. With the added bonus of actually improving the finish inside a day.

Thanks for the comments guys much appriciated:)

Cheers Mike

All is well indeed Michael, and very good to see what you're getting up to! I'm becoming a bit hooked on this myself.

Detailing has that effect:) well for some of us lunatics who like things uber clean haha

I'm positively untidy and a substantial amount of dust will happily adorn my shelves and skirting, but I spent Sunday morning at a classic car meet and spent most of the time looking at all the swirls on the paint and tutting! I have virtually eradicated them from the Cosworth now...

Lovely job Michael. Lovely car Peter :) I bet your car could tell some stories! Re Poorboys , that is really encouraging that you got that effect. My car does 15k a year so it will never be scratch free but at least there are products that can help!

Very pleased with the excellent work Michael has done on the above and the CL.

I was also very pleased with the Wheel refurbishment, compared with the previous refurb they look like new.

As you can see there are only three wheels ( On my wagon, reminds of a song !! ) shown. I am looking for a Front 8.5 ET 44 to make the set, so if anyone out there has one tucked away in their garage I would appreciate a heads up. Many thanks.

The Poorboys is excellent, but so scratched is my paint, I used Menzerna FG400 with Dodo Juice cutting pad to take the largest scratches out first (it does a brilliant job). I used the Poorboys straight from there, it adds a fair lick of colour to the black quickly and finished it all off with FinishKare Hi Temp sealant, which is a joy to use. I need to do some touching up on bumpers but will get some photos when complete.

400 and a cutting pad! Your sounding like a Jedi master of correction, good man:)

Embracing the dark side is the next step!
