If he'd thrown his shoes at Saddam then he might have deserved a medal. But then it's likely that it would have been posthumous.

Chucking something at GW or any other western leader generally doesn't get your life and family destroyed.

It's funny how the lovely liberal media generally gives the real dictators and murderers a reasonably easy ride (anybody see Trevor MacDonald interviewing Saddam) while they take the p*ss out of western leaders.

I'm not saying GW didn't deserve it but there is a massive double standard operated both in the west and non-western countries in terms of the level and type of criticism applied to leaders of different countries.
