Probably from the BMW 1 Series "Virtual Drive" disc that the dealers are giving away at the moment... A mate of mine has a copy, I had a play last week and its got a much better physics model than Prologue, IMHO (lot less understeery). If you want a copy, ring up BMW and pretend you wanna buy a 1 Series!

Unfortunately theres a 3 minute time limit so you can only do about 20 corners of the 'ring... Does have an updated version of the New York track, and a nice Capri track.

Ahh I found out that the copies that are for running at the dealer's showroom have a 3 minute limit. The copies for the public to take home are not limited to 3 minutes.

Cool... the copy my mate has took some serious blagging from the local dealer, I think it was a personal copy of one of the salesladies, so that explains the 3 minutes.

Got invited to the public launch event at Thorpe Park on th 19th, so maybe they'll be handing out the public discs then...me hopes!

Definitely worth trying to get hold of though given the delays to GT4 - the 120d is not that slow and handles pretty nice, and the 'Ring is so realistic with all the graffiti on the track etc! The new dash with G-meter and menu system are all GT4 I believe, and a step up from previous incarnations.

Hmmm... Looking for a downloadable copy - no luck yet. Dealers aren't giving them out until the launch on 18/19th. Might have to go now. :-( Was hoping not to offencd my eyeballs with that ugly car.

I've just been playing the virtual drive disc. The car maybe crap, there's a limit of 3 mins but...........













The track is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe the attention to detail on the track, even down to the spray graffiti on the track tarmac. Ahh the memories of last Nov.

Nice one, this has really whetted my appetite for the full GT4 in December.
