Get the cars out this weekend?

Hey guys.

I'll be looking to get the car out this weekend.

It's due to rain tonight and then clear up by about 4am Saturday morning.

So I will look to get the car out either on Saturday night (if it's dried up by then) or on Sunday, which will be dry all day.

Let me know if you fancy doing something.

Sunday is probably going to be the best day, judging by the weather reports.

I haven't got anything in mind for sunday as of yet.

Let's see if we can get a few of us together.

But if not, I'll still get the car out.

Not sure where to go yet but may head down Tenterden way.. see what's down that way.

Unless people would rather meet somewhere for lunch or something?

If you were to make the drive, I would prefer if there was a group of us, to make it more worth your while.

Hey guys, thanks for your responses

I haven't got a plan in mind at the moment but if any of you have any suggestions, make them known

I have to nip into work for abit this morning but I'll give it some thought when I get back.

I did notice last night that there is a small group from piston heads doing a trip from Guildford cathedral to Goodwood tomorrow morning.
I'm not sure if there is anything going on down at Goodwood but we could consider joining them maybe?

But it will be an early start as they are meeting at around 6.45am

It'll also mean about a 4 hour total drive for me - and could be similar for some of you.. so we could give that a miss and do something else instead.

I was originally thinking if heading down towards tenterden but I'm not sure how convenient that would be for some of you.

We'll also need to find somewhere to stop and eat if you guys were interested in lunch.

I'll try and find somewhere when I get back from work.

Ok,

I've been trying to find somewhere else for us to drive & eat lunch.

I've found a place called The White Dog Inn which is near Bodiam.

What we could do, is meet at Clackett services again - maybe at around 11am (I'm thinking that this is a place we can all find easily?) and then drive south-east to the White Dog Inn for lunch.

I haven't planned a stop-off like the last Meet & Drive we did but I'm thinking that it should be a nice enough 1hr drive through Dormsland, Frant, Wadhurst, Ticehurst & Bodiam without having to add a stop-off.

We can have lunch and catch up at The White Dog and then head off from there.

I have contacted The White Dog Inn and told them we may be coming. They have provisionally booked a table for us for 1pm.


What are your thoughts?

If anyone has any other suggestions, or doesn't like this proposal, please say. I want us to go somewhere that we're all happy with.
