Get Those House Cylinder Locks Changed

Video I just watched states anything pre 2008 has the weakness. Any locks fitted after this date should be the new, secure type.

My home was built in 2014 and the locks in the doors were not secure. Cheapest of the cheap- builders want to make profit on everything.

Just get the cylinder swapped to the anti bump type, John! I've been in the trade over 25yrs & this type are far superior to the type you mention that you can be snapped.

Yup, I had a CISA Astral cylinder with card-coded keys, for the last nine years - can't be bumped, got anti-drill insert, and although without fancy stars, is much more secure.

Hi,
These are what we used to replace our chocolate soft brass Euro cylinder locks on our conservatory doors!
They have really secure keys, are anti-bump and have a steel core - to stop them being snapped with a piece of scaffold tube!
