Is it possible to get a 220CDi, 270CDi or a 320Cdi engine into a W201 model? ( 190 ) ... and into the W124?

What changes must we performe ( appart form all the gear box, fuel line, suspensions, brakes ).

Too many to list.

You will need both an electronics expert and a very highly skilled mechanic to do this...just simply not worth it for the age of the car.

The 270cdi can just about be squeezed in, size wise, but the electronics with both these engines in phenomonal.

In the W124, we have put a 300TD from a W210 before, and it was a lot of hastle, but went well. I would reccomend using the 124 line of diesel engines in the W201, 250TD or 300TD multivalve engines do well in such a light car.

So, the 300TD ( 147bhp ) would be good in a 190 car?

how about the 250TD ( 150bhp ) and the 300TD ( 177bhp ) ?

Help me in this <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Hi OddZ! Have you taken this project into reality? I myself think about engine swap!
