Getting a Car to an Event

As some of you know, one of my cars is a white dirt magnet...

It's going to Bealieau soon, and has a nice spot reserved...

Problem is, that's 100-odd miles away, which means that as I drive it there, it'll pick up enough gunk to turn it brown again.

I was planning on waxing it the day before leaving home...

Any suggestions? As to either how to keep it clean on the way down, or re-clean it quickly once there?

Cling-film vulnerable parts and Greased Lightening wipe over on arrival?

Surely they would have car cleaning facilities at Beaulieu ?

as above, a good fe w layers of wax and then detailing spray when you get there

Cling film all over, peal off when you get there then quick detail.

I take a 25ltr drum of water, wash n wax n a bucket with me. detailing spray just in case.

Or stay out the previous night near by.

Is this for the COTY event on May 17th?

I might be displaying one for the weekend as well. I will just drive it the 160 miles there.

If they can get all 50 mine would be set in an ordered position...between a Fiat Tipo and a Renault Clio.

Nope - it's the ford day of the 4th of May; have a spot by the mustangs
