Getting car into neutral with dead battery.....column shifter version.

This is just in case I ever need to.....nothing wrong with mine.....so far!

I know how to get a trans into neutral on the versions with the floor mounted shifter (videos all over YT showing what to do......but mine is the (to me) far more aesthetically pleasing column shifter version! So if I should suffer terminal battery failure how do I get it into neutral to be able to push it off the road or whatever? Just so I know for the future.
 
According to the User Manual in the Breakdown Assistance section you use a jump start battery !
The towing is very restricted. RTFM....
 
column steering shifter cars has aux battery (actually capacitor) end of the dashboard, or start stop battery for such situations.
