Getting the right part

Problem is some owners think the brakes fitted to their car are never good enough ,or that Mercedes fitted a poor brakes system . .Lots of work goes in to the brake system , so it dose the job its intended to do . Serviced regular then the brakes are good . But as the calipers, and the discs get upgraded with a holy grail type . Then right away, you can forget finding any of the right brake parts from any dealer or parts shop to fit them anymore if you use the cars vin number . .

All I wanted to do was replace the discs and pads that were on the car when it left the factory. I ended up having to buy from a German company because all the British ones I tried wanted to sell me the wrong ones.

Just ordered a parking brake kit from eBay seller main dealer Sytner in Newcastle - it's a full kit of shoes, springs and actuators - £45 delivered which I think is a pretty good price. I'm sure my car still has all the original parking brake parts so I'm hoping for a decent improvement. Currently the brake is quite poor. (C350 Sport estate with M276 3.5L engine, pretty rare in the UK I think)

john 493 They are the best people to deal with .I have all my parts from Sytner Newcastle. Hope you get the brake job fixed soon .
Edinburgh are good also , sometimes cheaper . Depending on what you require. 👍👍

Yes, very rare I should think. When I checked my C350 Sport saloon with the M276 engine, there were around 50 registered in the UK. So I would think that there are considerably less estate versions, perhaps even in single figures.

Thats good to know, i fell out with Newcastle after asking for £39 for to nut and bolts to fit ball joints .The ball joints came to £80 wothout the fixing bolts .
