Girlie needs a car for around £500 - Any ideas?

My Wife was the same when we were looking for a car, we ended up getting an A4 and she loves it, and it is not that big for a saloon car, you could pick one up for a Grand now easy..

With your new budget you should be able to get a Fiesta with 1.25 engine, electric windows and power steering.

I was hoping I could get a 1.25 zetec mk4 for less than a grand but its that age old problem, I want something small for this money, when you look at that budget you realise what a waste of money small cars are when you can get bigger cars with more toys for the same cash, i know they cost more to run but that just seems wrong in my eyes as I ignore running costs and weigh up toys for cash when I buy cars
