Just been called by a mate who's tearing his hair out.
A neighbour has asked him to keep an eye on their 57-plate GL 320CDI 4-Matic while they're away for a month, leaving a key with him, and the alarm keeps going off at random. He's checked for obvious causes - such as an open window - but nothing found.
Any suggestions as to how to silence it temporarily?
It's driving him and the rest of the neighbours to distraction and he's taken to wearing the key on a lanyard when he's at home so he can reset it when it goes off. The only saving grace is that he doesn't live near me
