Gla window seals crumbling away

Hi any one any thoughts on why on 3 1/2 year old GLA with only 23000 miles the rubber strips should be crumbling away? (See Link to photo bucket). Also how do I get the chrome strip and seal off without damage to paint and could I get just the rubber profile to insert into the existing chrome?

What is the car washed with? TFR or Fairly liquid could cause the rubber to perish, Certainly not right on a 3yr old car.

Since we have had it it just gets taken to polish hand wash but don't know about first owner.

Polish hand washers will be using TFR.

Think,s I need to have a word with them. I'm also wondering what its doing to the tyres and wiper blades.
