GLA x156 door seal

The rubber door seal on the offside front has perished and I have found a replacement but how do I remove the plastic threshold sill trim, presumably it is clipped in but where do I start. I assume that the rubber seal will need to be affixed to the body frame, any recommendations on the type of adhesive that it is needed? Thanks in anticipation.
