Glass Roof

I usually clean car only when cant read number plate anymore, but roof caught my attention other day

I have one of them slatted glass sunroofs on car, from posts of tail of woe I tested it once and not used since.

There looks to be some kind of finish on glass that is wearing off, would this be an MB finish or just some after market gloss application, and any idea on how to remove it all or reapply finish.
