Hi folks
I have a GLC coupe 220d that’s a year old.
today a light came on saying the parking brake had failed and the electronic breaking system has failed.
Mercedes have come out and looked at the vehicle and have said both cables going to the break sensors on each rear wheel has broken. They’re saying it’s problem due to rats chewing through them rather than mechanical failure. That seems a little odd that two identical cables would have been chewed though on separate sides of the car.
Are they just trying to get out of a warranty claim?
Thanks
