GLC DAB UNIT LOCATION

Good evening can some tell me where the DAB unit is located in my 2017 GLC ? Thank you

On the left in the boot, its under the left boot carpet at the back and you can see the connections if you lift boot liner.

They are very reliable and un-likely to break though ..

I’m getting no sound or picking any radio or dab

The FM/AM radio is in the head-unit, not the DAB tuner. Probably another issue. We've seen a lot of 2016/2017 head units failing. They lose their flash ram and thus their configuration (so they no longer know the car has DAB or has HK etc, often map disappears) and they need replacing.

Hi I was woundering if you have found what the problem was, my DAB had recently keep going, coming up with Device Unavailable and the sound (Burmester system) has disappeared.

Not sure if it’s the Amp or something else.

It's a fibre optic ring with the stereo, the DAB tuner and the amp. If one breaks the ring is broken and so no sound or DAB. Probably needs proper diagnosis
