Just had the first service and discovered that all 4 tyres are worn to the same depth. This is leading to a very big bill when all 4 tyres need changing at the same time.

I was intrigued however, as I thought that most drive went to the rear wheels and the fronts only when needed. Is it that the wear associated with steering equals the wear caused by the driven wheels?

I am sure someone on this forum can explain what is going on.

If it's a 220 then torque split is 45:55. I believe 250 has 31:69 split.

No matter which model they're permanent 4 wheel drive but with a rear bias.

It is a 250 so I had expected the rears to wear quicker than the fronts. Still got 5.5mm of even tread left on all four after 12,000 miles so not too bad.

Just had 1st service 9.5k miles only 1mm wear on all 4 amazing!!
