Glovebox Light no connecting lead ?

Very odd have recently bought a 2005 C coupe and noticed the glovebox light did not work.
So prised out the lamp holder excepting to find a blown bulb but lol an behold there is no connecting lead anywhere to be seen. Have prised off the side panel which gives you a very good view of behind the glovebox and there is no sign of any lead.
Does anyone know where the lead would normaly feed from give me an idea of where i might trace it.

Has there been any other accessory mounted that they may have ‘nicked’ the feed for? Phone on side of console?

No the car is very standard apart from LPG fitted but cant see how that would effect the glovebox light ?

I was thinking more about a phone kit/extra power socket on the passenger side of centre console or a pure DAB etc.

mmm... LPG, do you also get that smug look on your face when you 'fill up' at your local station then like me? LOL

No nothing like that its so strange there no sign of a lead behind the glovebox.
