Glow Plug Caps

Right, finally did the injection pump valve seals and at the same time changed all the seals for the fuel pipes.
The problem is that the glow plug cap for no.1 broke of leaving me with just the wire.
I suppose i could solder a wire onto the existing wire and twist the other end of the wire to the glowpug.......but i dont like the idea and would like a more professional and safe repair.

Anybody done a repair job on one of these? would appreciate some ideas.
I'm sure MB don't do just the cap and i dont want to buy a complete wiring loom!!!!

Could get a plug from a scrapper and join to your broken wire if you really want a cap on there. However, as long as it is connected and insulated it will be fine.

Yes, i figured that may be my best route and as the glowplug terminal is pretty much universal, i suppose i could get one from any diesel car to fit
