Goa v South Africa

Having read the thread on Goa (one of two places we are considering) I was wondering if anyone can give me feedback on SA as we are trying to decide which one to visit next February.

I have been to Cape town and done the Garden Route many times, amazing. Highly recommended. The people the climate the scenery and those mountains, incredible.

I've done both and spend a lot of time in South Africa with work it's a great place never had a problem. Cape Town and garden route spectacular, excellent vinyards and stunning food. Bakubung game reserve just outside joburg is awesome. Joburg itself is amazing stay at Montecasino and you must visit wombles the best steak restaurant in the world.

Don't go to Sun City horrible place built to rip off tourists

Goa on the other hand idyllic tranquil relaxing great people food not quite as good as SA and less to do but a very relaxing battery recharging holiday.

Don't believe all the carp spoken about crime and danger in SA sure there is some but that's the same in a lot of places in the world including London.

Depends on the type of holiday you want but I'd go back to both locations in a heartbeat
