Good example of female parking - ouch!

Indeed...

The BBC spoke to the driver of the Toyota, but he said he was "not in the mood to give interviews"

I like the way the Porshe driver's injuries are described as "not life threatening"..

so that could be loss on an eye, horrific facial scarring , amputated arm , both legs crushed ... he was lucky !

They have edited the article - it definately said "woman driver" earlier!

Original text:

Dominic Montague, who works in a nearby coffee shop, saw the aftermath of the crash.

"I saw the woman who drove the jeep and she just looked befuddled, she couldn't really understand what was going on - which is probably understandable enough if you drove a car out over two other cars," he said.

The BBC spoke to the driver of the Toyota, but he said he was "not in the mood to give interviews".

Or maybe not. The car suffered a dented wing and bonnet, no glass breakage.

What a sham going to hospital, but, where there's blame, there's a claim..;)

Maybe a little more sympathy if you don't know all the facts?

One person, believed to be the Porsche driver, was taken to hospital.

If the guy were in the car then it would be very apparant he were the driver. Maybe he got run over approaching his parked car?

The facts reported are that they are believed to be the driver of the Porsche. If they were a pedestrian it should say so and would be newsworthy so would be likely to be reported.

I supect there will be no followup, so we are unlikey to know more, but certainly from the damage to the car there would be little risk of any injury.

If they were a pedestrian who was also the driver then the fact he were the driver would have been more relevant - I would assume - I didn't write the article.

I fail to see the relevance of the sex of the driver in this incident. I actually think the thread title is sexist, and offensive.
But that's just me.
Your mileage may vary.
