As many of you may know I'm not the Governments biggest proponent, however, this seems like a really good idea.

I don't know that much about the technology behind it or whether it is feasable, but it seems to be a real innovation.

All we need to do after that is nationalise the energy companies and we'll really see the benefit.

A lot of work has been put into high voltage (600Kv) transmission systems for interconnectors that increase capacity and reduce the transmission loss factors.

Probably doable if the economics work.
