Good merc mechanic Surrey area - basic!

Guys,

Have some quite basic problems with the C124, wondered if anyone knew of a reasomably priced, honest mechanic that I could contact?

problems:
window regulator
general service
cold start valve needs a look / distributor cap
brakes need review
fuses need a look
indicators out

you do not have a cold-start valve and NO distributor.

can you not see the small valve (2 inches square) on the nearside inner wing marked with MOT on top ?

put hand on it or listen to it after car has reached full operating temp and see
if it is ticking at 2 beats per sec. It should be. If not, then a problem and needs to be replaced or cleaned out.

Is yours the 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder engine ? out of interest.

Oh, OK. I will have a look for the item you have mentioned. sounds like i need a haynes manual!

Car is a 220 - 4 cylinder.
