Mrs PXW left for work this morning mentioning that the drain in one of the baths was running slow. Before I popped out to get some drain clog buster stuff, I thought I’d have a quick look in the inspection chamber - and, predictably, it was full and clearly blocked somewhere downstream. I don’t possess drain rods but I do possess the website address for a well known national drain clearance company (the ones with the dayglo orange vans). So, logged a call out - and within 90 minutes the guy had been in touch, arrived and cleared the problem.
I know I could buy rods, and there are probably cheaper local companies etc etc, but I also know we can be very quick to criticise these large firms when things go wrong, so I thought I’d give them a shout out for doing it well!
