You spotted the flaw in my question.

My point was that what if we were to fast forward a year or two and he turns out to be another Rolf?

If he is found guilty due to the Elm Guest House investigation then, if the rumours are to be true, he is only going to be one name on a list.

As others say, innocent until proven guilty. Then the problem would then start due to his new resident country having no formal extradition policy with the UK.

To a certain extent there's an unholy alliance here. Sure it appears the media have it in for Harry Webb but surely that's part of the pact he signed with that particular devil a long time ago ? He wasn't complaining back then about all the publicity in the papers and the interest of his adoring public which sold lots of tickets and has made him a considerable fortune over the years. But like most deals there can be a down side and perhaps the devil, right or wrong, has now come to collect?
