Goodbye S211 - Hello Sportbrake

There is quite a strong feeling on the Jag forums that the new model XF is not quite as 'special' inside as the outgoing model. That's how I felt about the MB models which succeeded the W211....

Snap! That's my view also. On both counts.

Jaguars are not without their problems / issues too

True - mine's been in to have the 'tank slap' fixed (v. common issue), and now the washer bottle is leaking and/or the level sensor has developed a fault. Both common issues. But that's what warranties are for, eh?

Happily my experience of Jaguar customer services has so far been an absolute world away from how I found Mercedes'.

Thanks matey! :)

And here's the proof. Crap photo, I know, but you get the idea...

The MPG has gone up!

No wonder you can afford to eat at The Dog. True to form, that last meal there was lovely.

A lovely car, Keith. M-B's are lagging behind on so many fronts...

I see they are now introducing the twin turbo 4 cyclinder diesel. That's around 240bhp. Should be fun and frugalish.
