I missed out three key words in my first post Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024.

For the last year Baby D has been dismissive about going but suddenly decided yesterday that he would like to go after all so after calling in some favours I have a couple of tickets for Sunday. Hopefully they arrive in time

Yep, doing Friday this year, but making a weekend of it this time. Heading to C&M Sundowners on Friday night (we're staying in West Meon so would be rude not to attend), hoping there might be a good selection of machinery to gawp at....

Which C&M sundowners are you going to, Banbury ?? I only ask as getting out of Goodwood and away from the area can be very time consuming and Banbury, even in an E63S will be an hour and a half or more once free, and if traffic is kind to you…

The C&M just North of West Meon? (The Hut) - its 1.5 miles from where we're staying: Caffeine and Machine: The Hut · West Meon Hut, Petersfield GU32 1JX

We won't be at FoS much beyond 3 or 4pm so should have plenty of time to get across I would have thought....?

It's M25 closure time again next weekend, so fine to go up and down the A3, but not to drive round the M25 to the A3.

How many do you need and on which days slim? I know quite a few people who’ve sold their tickets through WhatsApp groups during this week, but it seems to have slowed down a little - I’ll keep my ears open.
