Loaded up the Merc with some friends and went to Goodwood yesterday, the queues in and out were horrendous, but worth it. Delayed for a couple of hours the sun then appeared and these are a selection of shots.

Great stuff!

I remember how one of the first scale plastic models I built with my dad was a rather small Spitfire, followed by a 1:48 Hurricane a while later which came out really nicely and looked like the one on the formation pic.

Gotta love these birds. :thumb:
 
Lovely shots, thanks for posting. I was at work in London so saw nothing :(

An acquaintance went to a 75th anniversary memorial service - the programme had a picture of a Spitfire on the front ... unfortunately they'd picked the one that crashed at Biggin Hill last month!
 
Thanks for the pictures. They are miles better than the CH4? coverage of the planes.
