Audi did make quite a fuss... compared to bmw's tiny little stand with a small room to show you their ugly R-Class clone.

They had a big stand, but then it weas meant to be a feature:

" Audi is the “featured marque” at the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed in July – the spectacular annual event that is to be staged just days before the German manufacturer celebrates its Centenary.

Taking “centre stage” with the main display in front of Goodwood House, Audi will use Lord March’s World class motorsport extravaganza to commemorate that its origins were laid 100 years ago on 16 July 1909

I personally preferd the other stands - like Ford and Toyota where they had a selction of older performance and race used cars on static display, not just their current new cars. then again Audi had most of their iconic ex race cars actually on the hill, so fair play IMO.

i went up,i do the paintwork for chesil speedsters a porsche 356 replica.so went in with those guys,
what a day it was the first time iv been up and was blown away.
