Thinking of going to Goodwood revival next year and would like recommendations of accommodation in the area. Hoping for some reasonable priced B&B or hotel. Not looking for anything fancy as don't expect to be there much (just to sleep).

What is traffic like getting into the circuit in the mornings and leaving in the evenings? Are some directions easier to get to / from?

try Woodacre at Walberton. Google it. Decent people, prices ok and it is on A27 about 4mile to east. Allow 1/2hour in morning and evening to get there or back.

PM me for alternative if already booked up

Whats the date just out of curiousity ?

John,
Thanks for the tip. I just had a look on the web and discovered a site that reported, "Sorry, the last available room in Woodacre B & B was booked 12 hours, 37 minutes ago! ".

I'd like to know of other recommendations you could make.

Howard,
It's 16-18th September 2011. I've been told to book accommodation early - looks like wise advise.

Had a brilliant time at goodwood revival last weekend. It was much better than expected. Did anybody else go?

Shame about the showers on Sunday. :(

You won't get a B&B or hotel within about 40 miles. They are all booked up years in advance

Traffic was bad this year. If you arrive at 0730 you'll find not much traffic. 0900 is disastrous

Your best way is to camp or take a camping van - or stay with friends in Sussex
