Got to wait another week to pick up my ML :-(

Came home from holiday on saturday all excited to pick my ML up on Sunday, my wife had a message on her phone and rung the garage, they're a Volvo dealer, and there was a warning light on the dash which they said they would fix before I get the car, but they had to send it to Mercedes as they couldn't repair it, which I guess is because they don't have the right giagnostics being Volvo, so they haven't received the car back yet, so got to wait till saturday. Not the end of the world but I can't wait to get the car!

frustrating, but at least it sounds as if they're trying to get it fixed properly for you

That's what I thought, also if they run diagnostics they will find if there is any other hidden faults

See if you can find out which dealer is working on the car and ask that they let you know if they find anything that might interest you.

I bought an MR2 from a Volvo dealer and insisted that they had it serviced by the local Toyota dealer rather than in-house. Called the Toyota dealer and they were happy to give it a once over for me.
