Hi

Is it possible to use one GPS aerial to supply two seperate GPS devices i.e my Origin B2 and my Sat Nav??

Regards

Tan

Woops...can someone move this to electronics for me..

Yep !

You could buy a road angel - which has a GPS output ;)

Otherwise, you can get a GPS splitter device - try www.pocketgps.co.uk for some ideas - there may be a solution on there.

is it not just as cheap to buy a generic GPS antenna. ?? Would there be any signal loss with 2 units sharing?

Are we talking about the SL here?

Yep its for the SL and the S-Class when i get around to trying if it works in there.

Mercedes has a GPS splitter to conect 2 GPS devices to one antenna (teleaid and navigation for example).

greetingz,

Whats the part number Steve?

Hmmm.. interesting I think I might have one of those devices sitting with my phone kit that's ready to install . . . or perhaps it's to split the GPS / GSM signals from a combined aerial . . . very small metal encased box. Would that be it ?

does it have a part number on it? could be your enet compensator.

Yes it does have a part number . . . . . here it is in person :D

Not the E-Net compensator, 'cos that is much bigger and sitting in an unopened box !

**EDIT** - Just ran it thru the DaimlerChrysler online parts computer . . and it is indeed :-
