Pole Shirley ?

It makes me anxious.

I have to say I don't care about people's spelling I'm intelligent enough to work it out.

Sadly though there are a lot of do-Gooders and strange folk on here who have nothing better to do.

Funny how the pole was late - anyhoo...

Posting without paragraphs will quite easily stop me reading a post.

Text jargon such as c u l8er m8te really ruffles my feathers. :(

fat fingers and a tablet keyboard are a pita. sonmissingnspacesniscommonnwithnme.... and capitals are even more awkward

I don't mind poor spelling, i'm not the best myself, but text speak when not in a text does my head in. (In fairness it does my head in when in a text as well)

Yes, it's not so easy on the eye reading a very large post without any 'White Space'. It's much easier to read when they're separated every few sentences.

Yes, text talk first came about to make it quicker to type a text old the old mobile phones. 1=abc etc.....But all modern mobiles with touch screens have full qwerty keyboards so it's just as easy to type properly.

Ant. :D

Its appostrophees used in the rong plaices that reely get too me, not bad grammer or spelin, like when cafe's advertise " enjoy are coffee's and tea's ", but theyre never used when they should bee, like a recent Highways dictat 'DONT DROP LITTER'. What does dont mean?

Anybody no were there are any descent speling books four sail?

Dyslexia sometimes plays a part in poor spelling.

My mate was dyslexic. He's dead now. He choked on his own vimto.

"LISTEN, I'M NOT DYSLEXIC! K.O.?"

All joking aside, I make no secret that I REALLY struggle with reading, writing & spelling but I try to do my best when posting.

Isn't the pole a bit two pacific ?

I can not vote in the Poll because, there is not an option for someone such as I.

I don't agree with this txt speak slang, however it has a place in a modern evolving language such as English, providing the participants know, or, are taught the full versions of LMFHO.

When my youngest first went to university he sent me a text using what I gather is txt spk.

I replied only using vowels.

Grammer indeed.
