I agree that this is a good product, I still wash and dry normally but then use showroom shine as a polish/protect afterwards.

just taken receipt of my new c class on Saturday and to be honest am a bit scared what to use first on brand new paint!?

May sound strange, but if you're planning on keeping on top of the detailing, I'd give it a clay first (you'd be surprised how much crap is on brand new cars) and then give it a couple of coats of a good wax.
