I've posted before but a few years back I saw a
flat capped old bloke driving a battered old sierra or something with the plate c155 amg, I chased him down the road for a couple of miles with the intention of getting him to sell me the plate but he didn't stop !!

Unfortunately my initials are "AM" meaning any possible number plate of interest to me is inflated in price by Aston Martin owners.
I was umming and ahhing about a "400" plate for the incoming SL but even those were silly money. It doesn't stop me looking at the DVLA auction lists though in case something grabs my attention for under £2K.
