Great news for anyone in Lancashire! Our Accrington Branch is now online, meaning you can now Click & Collect in store.

I'm not sure it's great news that Accrington can now experience the same c*rp service as the rest of the country.

Hope they've got a GSF close by

I went to ECP in St Helens expecting a smooth, professional operation, unfortunately what I got was possibly the worse experience ever, starting with a 20 minute wait before anyone came out of the back room. If I hadn't pre ordered I would have given them 5 minutes max, there was no one else in the shop, no wonder??

In my (considerable experience) Pre-order is a complete waste of time. You turn up at the shop and then have a minimum of a 20 minute wait. My most recent experience was simply awful.

I pre-ordered a headlight restoration kit (having seen ECP advertise it on here).

On screen it showed 2 in store in Medway. Great - I ordered it on-line @ 14:00 to collect that afternoon.

Arrived at the store at 16:00. Left the store at 17:03. Yes 1 hour and 3 minutes later. Why is this.

1) There is nobody actually serving - They are all looking at you through a glass on the telephone.

2) When I was served. Guess what!! "we don't have that kit in stock - did you order it from here"?

3) Yes. Here is the order on my iphone. OK. "We don't have any left. Not sure how that happened."

4) I am looking at the kit on the shelf in front of me.

5) Can I have that one.

6) Big debate with colleagues in the backroom ensues. Lot's of pointing at me and looking at the ceiling.

7) We are just having another look out the back.

8) Forget it I am leaving.

9) You can have that one on the shelf then.

Shambles........And not uncommon.

Shut the shop and make it on-line only. I have never once seen your Medway branch without a queue that is out the door and cars that can't get parked.

They are so hopeless around here it's unbelievable. Went to collect service parts for my Nephew at Rotherham didn't have plugs despite pre order. Said Sheffield had them so drove to Sheffield to get them for him, guess what none in stock.

Called at GSF Sheffield served instantly with correct items.

I've stopped using ECP my time is more valuable than waiting for idiots to get their act together

Apart from the massive queues that seem to build up, the Poole branch are pretty efficient. It would seem that all branches could do well to hire extra counter staff!

Hello Bruce Miller,

Sincere apologies I have reported this case to the head office.

FYI. I have been a very vocal supporter of ECP on here in the past as well as a customer. I am serious in my feedback.

You need a "collection only desk" that is staffed.

Having a "goldfish bowl" with staff gawping out at queues of waiting customers! Is a huge affront and will turn people away.

I also note that you seem to have a big "returns" queue that takes time to deal with. That is another delay for people who just want to collect their items.

Make it click and collect only. Without the returns, tyre kickers, how much, do you sell.

This^^^

I waited and waited, because the counter guy who was serving another person told be I'd be seen to when someone on the phones became free.

A guy got off his chair, headed towards the door to the counter - then his phone rang, so he went and sat down again .

I left.

Well to be honest the three I've used in and around Bristol have been faultless.
Normally order in evening for collecting next day.
Every time I get a call to say my order is ready for collection, and when I get there there is never a que longer than 5 mins.

I tend to get calls to tell me my order is ready for collection on the way home from collecting.
