Kerbing and damage wasn't too bad, though some corrosion had set in under the lacquer of the machined faces of the wheels:
I know some mobile guys would just key the wheel up and paint doing the job in half the time - however when removing the lacquer on the machined faces it's obvious why this shouldn't be done:
The surface might look good but the lacquer has lost it's key on the wheel face and just falls off in wafers.

This then get's flatted and checked for any blemishes.
Back in the booth and painted, lacquer coats to follow:
Tyre re-inflated, wheel sealant and tyre shine applied, center caps polished, hubs cleaned and copper greased and wheel re-fitted and torqued up:
David specifically wanted the wheels painted all over and not polished which was an option on the Bentley. Have to say they look less fussy like this
