Where are you based ?
In 2020 there were some big changes to the roads in Bristol, be interesting to see if these are updated on your '2022/2023' data or its just the version info that has been changed...

I'll get a screen shot of it later...

Just updated my ntg4.5 with V20 2022/2023 with SD card from navi expert, took Aprox 1.30 hrs .

Maybe, just maybe, V20 is available outside of the flawless Mercedes system? I am happy with my upgrade and care not one jot if it is "official" or not.

My 2017 S205 maps were out of date. Following advice on here I contacted navi-expert-uk on eBay for some advice. The response was lightening quick and I ordered a dongle for £89, considerably cheaper than MB wanted for an upgrade! The dongle arrive within days and after help and guidance from Lukas I was able to upgrade in 30 minutes!
Everything went seamlessly and I can only recommend navi-expert-uk with whom I have no connection other than as a very satisfied customer.

Brilliant info thanks JHS, we collect our 2016 S205 on Wednesday so will be really useful.

I want an upgrade, yes, and if it turns out the eBay upgrade has newer software than mine, I will be going for it !

You need to write the POI file onto a fat 32 formatted SD card, insert into your nav, then select a rout to my POI.

Guess you can then view the route and zoom in on the destination..

Just a heads up, 3 roundabouts on the A140 Norwich to Ipswich road which were not on my previous V19 are now shown and listed on the V20 2022/2023 map update on my ntg4.5 , which was purchased from navi expert on the Bay!

But why not contact the seller direct to ask your questions? That's what we did, and we then made a judgement. All those that have used him have said that he is very helpful.
I can also confirm that my upgrade now shows my address, which my previous version did not.

I'm suspicious about any non-OEM stuff for Mercedes. On this topic I thought the content might have been modified just for the version info and such which is what Chinese often do. The best proof about a real database updated is your report about the updates compared to the previous version (that seems to be the latest official version).

We could ask the shop owner but I believe he too likes to refer to his happy customers. Specifically first time buyers cannot be sure if a sales person is just fluent with the words or if he really knows his stuff and provides valuable support.

So, thanks for sharing facts about the actual updates in addition to your personal shopping experience.
