Green Interiors Good Or Bad?????

I have just bought a w107 89SL light metallic green with this interior It originally put me off but the more i drive it the more i like it just wondered other peoples thoughts and your fav interiors I looked at lots of SL,s this was only one with this green interior ,I know most people love leather but i was actually looking for a car without I think the vinyl/cloth retains its newness better this car has 123k miles and insde like new! and the door cards dont crinkle so much I think it gives a period charm to car
I liked the cream but trim seems to fade to different shades of germoline, black always cool if unadventurous, grey is smart but almost to modern , blue seems to look tired easy and burgundy just looks nasty
SO WHATS YOUR FAV ????????????
and is it just me or are most of the cars out there white with blue interior or red with cream?

Hi roocarl,

The interior on your car looks fine to me. From memory, most of the cars I've had have had grey or black interiors, but one stands out.. I bought a car (not a merc) which was white with a blue interior. I didn't like it much, but the car was a bargain so I bought it anyway. I got used to the interior very quickly, and ended up keeping the car 7 years.. longer than any other I've owned.

Your interior looks like new. Looks very cherished. Green wouldn't be on the top of my list but looks good in your car.

yep perhaps your right Gaz ,I used to hate blue interiors but I had a 280SL pagoda light metallic blue with Navy leather and i loved it after a couple of years of living with it

Well at least my lil ones love it my girl aged 5 thinks an illuminated vanity mirror is fantastic and my boy age 7 has never seen an electric ariel before and keeps turning radio on and off in amazement , not my first 2 reasons for liking the car but hey if there happy I am happy

The walnut works well with the green IMO

For me - it's about the whole picture - and yours is lovely! It goes well - it's a classic car so needs the classic interior to match the bodywork - and it does.
